Opened in 1974, the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital offers services in emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery and many surgery specialties such as urology, otolaryngology, and orthopedics, internal medicine, and many medical subspecialties.

In recognition of the growing needs of the community, Millard Fillmore Suburban recently completed a two-year, $64 million expansion, which added more than 100,000 square feet to the hospital. This expansion will minimize wait times, expand services, and afford more modern and comfortable accommodations to patients and visitors.

Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital also supports residency-training programs of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, general surgery, urology, and obstetrics and gynecology, and family practice.
